SABROSO - WINERIES & VINEYARDS
The climate in southern New Mexico with it warm dry heat and seasonal monsoon rains offers an ideal growing environment for wine vineyards. In fact New Mexico is the oldest wine growing region in the United States. Over the past twenty years a good number of local wineries have opened their doors offering award winning varieties of locally produced red, white and sparkling wines. You can even find unique pistachio and pecan infused wines that take advantage of the abundant local crops. Most wineries also offer tasting rooms and several have wine festivals showcasing their products along with great live entertainment. |
